Increase in bookings is good for GGR:
October Golden Week 2023 is a mid-fall festival celebrated according to the lunar calendar. This year, it starts on September 29 and lasts until October 6, including China’s National Day, which is celebrated on October 1. As of September 22nd, exactly 22 hotels linked with Macau casino facilities have received their standard rooms, aka rooms for 2 adults, booked for minimum 3 nights of the upcoming holiday. Those hotels are:
Palazzo Versace hotel – located within Cotai’s gaming resort; Grand Lisboa – a Macau peninsula establishment owned by SJM Holdings Ltd; Grand Lisboa Palace; MGM Macau hotels and MGM Cotai hotels – which are owned by MGM China Holdings Ltd.Then there are hotels that have completely gone without a standard room, such as:

Average rooms rates per night:
For the approaching festivities, the average price of standard rooms per night is MOP3,000, which is approximately US$373, up to more than MOP4,000, excluding service charges and taxes. This is according to the prices quoted through the individual hotel reservation systems and is valid from September 21. Additionally, the most expensive listed prices are valid from September 30 to October 3.
