An estimated 1 million people gathered in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs winning back-to-back Super Bowls.
But what was supposed to be a joyous day ended in tragedy when a shooting took place after the team's pep rally at Union Station.
One person was killed and more than 20 were wounded in a shooting that appears to have been the result of "a dispute between several people," police chief Stacey Graves said Thursday. Two juveniles have been detained in connection with the shooting.
Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a Kansas City-area radio DJ, was the victim who died, her employer KKFI 90.1 FM said.

A judge denied Trump's motion to dismiss the case, confirming that a trial will begin with jury selection on March 25. Trump, the Republican front-runner in the 2024 presidential race, is now facing four criminal cases. He has pleaded not guilty in all of them and accused Democrats of targeting him politically.
